Yes, we rent Class C motorhomes. 

Because getting there can be just as fun as being there! Traveling in an RV makes it easy and fun to stop along the way and see the sites. When camping in the woods seams appealing, yet having your own bed and a bathroom at hand sounds good as well, then an RV rental is the ticket. Other advantages include not having to pack and un-pack a suitcase every day, and being able to prepare your own meals instead of having to eat out all the time. However, if your only interest in traveling is being at your destination, then flying may be the better answer.

We like to think of ourselves as the straight forward rental company. We start by posting our actual prices and units, not a range of prices or a range of sizes. We pride ourselves in our NO HIDDEN FEES pricing. Obviously, not everyone is going to the same place so mileage charges are a varying factor, but there are no prep fees, no tank disposal fees, and no generator fees. We rent newer, clean, non-smoking, fully self-contained RVs at a fair rate. We are also very thorough in our orientations and demonstration of the motorhomes and trailers.

Oregon is the best state in the pacific northwest, period. Oregon has more diversity of landscapes and micro climates and more public access and public lands, by far, than our neighboring states.

Unlike Washington all 300 miles of Oregon coastline is public owned and while you may find some areas hard to access, none of it is private. Speaking of beaches, Oregon has Hwy 101 that follows the coastline in its entirety. Additionally Oregon has a lot better elevations and viewing opportunities than most areas. Oregon has the heavily timbered rugged coastline with access to the redwoods near the state’s southern coastline. The coast range has many jumping off points for day hikes and waterfall viewing. 

Pair this with the trip though the “valley” region with its fertile soils and you will find vineyards, apple orchards and many smaller u-pick or truck farms. Most major metropolitan areas are located in the valley as well. Portland is renowned for its diversity, eateries and microbreweries. In fact Portland has more breweries than any other city in the world. 

Bordering the Willamette Valley region is the high cascades with mountain passes exceeding 4,000 feet. Scattered with high mountain peaks and lakes stocked with fishing opportunities the gem of the cascades is our only National Park, Crater Lake.

On the east side of the cascades is where you come down to our high desert country. Distinguished by large Ponderosa pine trees and littered with lakes formed by volcanic activities it is a hikers paradise. You will find white water rafting, canoeing and rock climbing among the many activities that are available in Central Oregon. 

Further east, the natural beauty is beyond compare. Whether looking at the Painted Hills, Wallowa Lake or all the way over to Hells Canyon, the deepest canyon in North America, there is no shortage of things to see here in Oregon. 

There truly is something for everyone here in Oregon. Whether it is crabbing and clamming on the coast, skiing Mt Hood, hiking, canoeing and white water rafting, or just relaxing with a great local wine or beer you will be sure to have a great time. With all of the diversity of culture and climates, access to lands and activities, and natural beauty why would you go anywhere else.

You pick up your rental RV in the afternoon of your first rental day. Your rental RV is due to be returned in the morning of your last rental day.

RV rentals are similar to hotel rooms. Guests are expected to check out in the morning so that the room can be cleaned before the next guest checks in that afternoon. Our RVs are also coming in and going out on the same day. RV rentals are due back in the morning so we can clean them before they go out again in the afternoon.

NO. A valid regular drivers license is all that is required. However, If you are purchasing our insurance then you must be at least 25 years of age.

The motorhomes are equipped just as a normal truck or car, and you will find that they have a similar feel. The difficulties arise from the size of the vehicle compared to a normal vehicle. The height of the motorhome is up to 12 feet, which is considerably taller than most vehicles. In addition, the width of the motorhome is 8-1/2 feet, which is much wider than even a truck. The biggest challenge is the "tail swing" . This is the distance the rear end of the motorhome moves in the opposite direction of the way you are turning. For example, if you are making a right hand turn then the rear of the motorhome is swinging to the left. A good tip is to always look over your shoulder. So, if you are turning left, be looking in the right side mirror. If you are turning right, be looking in your left side mirror.

We want you to have a great time, and we know that feeling confident is part of that experience. We are very thorough in our orientations. During the checkout you will likely view a video with instructions on the use of all of the features of your unit. Additionally we offer driving tips and cautions. In some units we will have a guide that highlights some of the motorhome features, but we encourage you to take notes during the instructions.

All of the motorhomes are fully self-contained so, no, you do not need full hookups. It is preferred that you have electric on your site, but sewer is not needed. If you are camping in a "primitive" site (meaning no electric, water or sewer hookup) you are still fine - just remember that some RV features will require the use of the generator, and most parks will limit their use.

Yes. We include a sewer "dump hose" for your use to dump the holding tank when it is full. We also include a freshwater hose to hookup to water or to refill the freshwater tank. We also provide a "park adapter" which will convert the 30 AMP RV cord into a residential style plug. This adapter is what you need to use if you take the motorhome home and want to plug it in to your home electricity. A helpful idea if you are considering parking the motorhome at a residence while on your trip is to bring an electrical extension cord to reach their service. The motorhome has a 25 foot shore power cord for your convenience. If you are going to be in one location for an extended period of time ask us if you need an extra section of sewer hose.

Mileage is very dependant on the driving conditions involved. Is the road in the mountains, or on the freeway? Is it raining or windy? How many people are in the vehicle? As a general rule we tell people that the Class C units get around 10 miles per gallon on the freeway and 8 miles per gallon in the mountains. From there factor in weather, number of people and speed. The Class C units all have a 55 gallon gas tank so your range on a tank is around 450-500 miles. 

You must have one seatbelt for every occupant. All occupants are required to be seated and buckled in while the vehicle is in motion. Keep in mind that "car seats" usually will require two seatbelts to keep them stable. We recommend that car seats be use in the dinette area.

NO. The motorhomes do not come with pots and pans, silverware, towels, pillows etc. We do rent kits for these items, but most local renters provide their own supplies. We like to save the kits for our out-of-town customers if possible.

All of the hitches are locked out, but we will unlock the hitch for use by permission only. This way we can monitor who is towing with the motorhomes and check for excessive brake wear. Our policy is that we will allow towing up to 2000 lbs. without brakes or up to 4000 lbs. if the trailer has "surge brakes". We reserve the right to test drive the motorhome upon return to inspect the brakes for damage. The renter is still responsible for brake damage even if they stay within weight limits.

We do rent bike racks that carry up to 4 bikes. The bike racks mount into the hitch or receiver in the back of the motorhome. If you want to use your own bike rack that attaches into the hitch you are more than welcome to do so. However, since we lock the hitches you must bring your bike rack at the time of departure.

Yes, and we do not charge for this service. However, we are not responsible for your vehicle or its contents. We do encourage you to take advantage of this option, especially during peak travel times.
